The new SIRGAS Symposium is held in the city of Santiago de Chile during 7-9th November 2022. Thanks to the invitation, SANDING partner in Chile KOLLNER LABRANA & CIA. LTDA is exhibiting in this event. It’s great honor that SANDING can attend in this even. Meanwhile, this event is also in celebration of 100 anniversary of IGM de Chile.

As we know, SIRGAS is a well-known organization in Latam countries, offering Geodetic Reference System for the Americas since 1993, founded in Asuncion, Paraguay. They provide foundation geometrical reference system and keep one nation, even the whole South American under a corresponding network. Nowadays, thousands of terminals are using SIRGAS network. What a magnificent work.

Due to CORS Network KOLLNET powered by SANDING and KOLLNER Lab, we are invited to this event and searching for a deep cooperation with SIRGAS.

What is Network RTK and KollNET?

The GNSS RTK Network called KollNET allows you to receive corrections via the Internet for RTK surveys anywhere within the coverage of installed GNSS RTK Reference Stations.

By receiving RTK corrections via the Internet, you do not need to use base equipment or UHF radios, providing security, hardware savings, reduced personnel and the freedom to survey more than 100Kms without changing stations or moving a base equipment.

How does KollNET work?

When connecting your Mobile GNSS equipment to a collector connected to the Cellular Internet, it sends the information of your relative position to the KollNET Data Center, which, based on your current position, begins to generate and send you the correction packages in real time towards your Rover GNSS Receiver.

Your Mobile GNSS receiver, once it starts receiving the correction packets, can calculate the precise position using RTK algorithms with centimeter precision, achieving fixed solution.

The KollNET Data Center can generate the correction packages thanks to a Network of Modern KollNET GNSS Reference Stations installed throughout the country, which are connected 24/7 to the KollNET data center servers.
